If the term ‘gauge’ is being used, then you don’t know the thickness of the material used to manufacture your liner.  Pool Fits tells you the ‘mil’ thickness used to manufacture your liner, because a ‘mil’ is 1/1000 of an inch, so you know exaclty what your are buying.  Don’t be fooled by the term ‘gauge’, and ask the right questions:

What is the ‘mil’ thickness of the materail used to manufacture the liner?

Is the same ‘mil’ thickness material used on the wall and the floor of the liner or are those two different ‘mil’ thicknesses?
